Some of you may have heard of The Jen, a sandwich from many, many years ago offered at a former deli here in Claremont. The “creator” of this sandwich has offered us to tweak it our Tremont way and make it available for the month of October as a special. THE VILLAGER was born. The message “it takes a village” is more apparent now than ever as we struggle through this trying year as a community.
20% of all sales of this sandwich will be donated in the form of gas cards for patients of the Norris Cotton Cancer Center. Last November we raised $625 by selling hoodies. Last October we raised $233 by pushing THE NICK pizza again. That’s over $850 in gas cards donated last year alone – what a blessing!
THE VILLAGER is offered as a grinder or a wrap and has a garlic butter base toasted with melted cheddar/mozzarella cheese over fresh spinach, tomatoes, and red onion with a side of Ranch dip.

The Nick Pizza
The Nick is a Pesto, Chicken, Tomato, Spinach Pizza that Nick made right here at Tremont. The Pesto is made locally from Vegetaball’s Pesto in Claremont, NH. In 2016, for the month of September, 20% of sales of the Nick pizza was donated to CHAD for Team Nick. It was such a hit that the Nick Pizza is now part of our menu! Thank you so much to the Claremont community (and surrounding towns) for the support of this fundraiser for Team Nick!
